Space Center
Space Center is an immersive learning game installed at a library entrance. The game is projected onto a wall ten meters wide and 3.8 meters high. Children launch number rockets to find a classification planet and begin a library journey. At the end of the game, a map shows where the books matching the chosen classification number are placed. The design teaches the meaning of classification numbers through play in a supportive atmosphere. The aim is to raise motivation and to help children find books by themselves.
Space Center Learning Game by Chia-Ching Chou was recognized as a creative representation of service design by the A' Design Award.
